Speaker:financial clarity clarity.
Speaker:Hi. Welcome back to Wealth Witches. I'm your host, Caitlin Magnuson.
Speaker:And today, we have Robin Langford, and I am so
Speaker:excited to have her here. Robin is a fate and free will coach who
Speaker:blends practical astrology with contemporary mindset coaching to help
Speaker:entrepreneurs leverage their unique strengths, navigate challenges, and
Speaker:strategically plan their lives and businesses. Robin, you have
Speaker:a lot more experience than just, you know, this
Speaker:bio really lays out. Can you tell everyone that's listening a little bit
Speaker:more about, you know, your background and who you are?
Speaker:Yes. I am a neurodivergent
Speaker:witch, which is appropriate for this
Speaker:particular podcast. I have an
Speaker:undergraduate degree in history, so I am a trained historian and researcher. I have
Speaker:a master's degree in curriculum and instruction, which means I'm
Speaker:a really, really good at explaining things.
Speaker:And I have been in education I was I've been in education
Speaker:broadly for about 20 years. I have been an entrepreneur for
Speaker:15 years, and I have been working with astrology, the traditional Hellenistic
Speaker:predictive astrology that I use with my clients for about a decade now.
Speaker:It's quite a lot of experience. It is. And that's the nutshell
Speaker:version. Yes. No. Not the extended yeah.
Speaker:Very, very long version of the or it could be. I have found
Speaker:your gift and your insight to be really invaluable, and I'm so
Speaker:excited for you to drop a little bit of that knowledge with all of the
Speaker:listeners today. And today, we're gonna be talking about annual perfections
Speaker:for figuring out where your focus should be. The great thing about this when
Speaker:you and I were chatting topics is this makes it really easy for, you know,
Speaker:anyone that's listening because you only need to know your age
Speaker:for this to be something that you can actually utilize and put into play. Can
Speaker:you tell us a little bit more about, the topic that we're going to be
Speaker:covering today, Robin? Sure. The reason that I love annual perfection
Speaker:so much is because it is one of the most powerful timing techniques that lets
Speaker:us know if I do have a birth chart, like, what's gonna be the most
Speaker:active and what's gonna be most likely to be happening. But even if I don't,
Speaker:it's an a powerful astrology technique that can be used by
Speaker:literally anybody. And like you said, they only have to know their their age.
Speaker:And do you wanna tell you how kind of how it works real quick? Mhmm.
Speaker:So in astrology, there are 12 houses and those 12 houses cover
Speaker:all of the people and topics, of an individual's life.
Speaker:And the criticism that people have of astrology frequently is
Speaker:how can every how how can everything be
Speaker:shown in one chart. Right? Like one little map. And it's
Speaker:because not everything is active at any given time
Speaker:and this is one of the ways that we know what is active and what's
Speaker:gonna be the most important in the natal chart, but also what's gonna be the
Speaker:most important in the where the planets are in at any good
Speaker:event at any given moment.
Speaker:And, and so first house is
Speaker:always you as a person. It is the only house in the
Speaker:entire chart that just has to do with the individual. The second
Speaker:house is how you make money. That's one that most of my entrepreneurs
Speaker:love. The 3rd house is communication. It tends to be
Speaker:things for I'm gonna speak specifically to entrepreneurs and business owners because that's
Speaker:just who I work with the most. But so I want people to recognize that
Speaker:it also has to do with about 20 to a 100 other topics,
Speaker:but I'm talking specifically about the ones that are applicable to entrepreneurs in
Speaker:general. 3rd house tends to be, like, emails, podcasts, correspondences,
Speaker:that sort of thing. 4th house is family and home, so your home environment.
Speaker:This was very important for a lot of my work at home or work from
Speaker:home or work remotely people. 5th is
Speaker:pleasure. It's all of the fun things. It's,
Speaker:children, romance, that type of thing. 6th house is your systems.
Speaker:It's also what you feel responsible to and your health,
Speaker:and pets interestingly enough which a lot of entrepreneurs didn't have.
Speaker:7th house is your partner and that can be business partner or
Speaker:your romantic partner and also open enemies and
Speaker:lawsuits. 8th house is taxes and we've talked about
Speaker:this one a lot. It's taxes, it's bookkeeping, it's estate planning, it's your
Speaker:partner's money, it's money that you make indirectly, so like affiliate sales
Speaker:or, that sort of thing, or royalties. So a lot of
Speaker:my people also have books published and royalties tend to fall in there.
Speaker:9th house is everything that expands your mind, higher education, religion,
Speaker:philosophy, and foreign travel, one of your
Speaker:favorites. 12, 10th house is
Speaker:your public reputation and how you deal with authority and often it
Speaker:can be like the direction your business is going. For entrepreneurs, it can be a
Speaker:little bit different for people who have straight jobs. 11th
Speaker:house is networks, masterminds, social
Speaker:media, how you, and, like,
Speaker:the thing I always wanna say is friends with benefits, which, you know, but I
Speaker:actually need friends with influence. And then 12th house is self sabotage,
Speaker:hidden enemies. So that can sometimes be, like,
Speaker:malicious gossip for entrepreneurs, and needing
Speaker:a lot more downtime. And the way that I use the house is beyond
Speaker:annual annual perfections is it it makes it really clear, like, there are some times
Speaker:when hustle's a great thing and it's indicated
Speaker:by transit, which you know because you're in a hustle period.
Speaker:And and there's sometimes it's like, no, you need to sit down and not do
Speaker:anything or do the bare minimum just to stay afloat, but, like, give your body
Speaker:time to rest and relax. And the perfections tell us that. So each one
Speaker:of those things that I just described is an area of life that can you
Speaker:can tell when it's being activated by your age and that just tells you
Speaker:your general theme for the entire year just by knowing your age
Speaker:and that's annual projections. Fantastic.
Speaker:Yeah. I know. That, I feel like
Speaker:some of the friends with benefits make total sense to me because I think of
Speaker:it a little bit grander than just the, I think, linear
Speaker:definition of it, but, that's fantastic. So where do
Speaker:we start if I'm wanting to find out, you know, what my annual perfection
Speaker:is for the year? So, you know, I just realized that they will need I'm
Speaker:gonna give you a one page chart so that that they'll look like
Speaker:can I share my screen with you real quick? Of course. So I have a
Speaker:I have a workbook that I've I've created for my members, and I'm just gonna
Speaker:pull one page out of it for you. And they can just look at their,
Speaker:so what what we're looking at on the screen right now, if you're not watching,
Speaker:is a circle chart that's laid out like an astrology chart and it
Speaker:has the age, and the house
Speaker:number for each of the perfections and
Speaker:it starts over. So you go in the 1st year, when you're
Speaker:born from ages 0 to 1, you're in a first house perfection. From ages 1
Speaker:to 2, you're in a second house perfection and so on. And it repeats when
Speaker:you turn 12, 24, 36, 48, 60.
Speaker:Like, that's when you get a brand new start. And so this one page also
Speaker:tells you a very brief very brief
Speaker:keywords for each house. So that's all anybody needs to know what their theme is
Speaker:for the year, and it'll just be that one page. Perfect.
Speaker:Yeah. Yeah. No. That's awesome. So we'll make sure that we link that in here.
Speaker:But, also, if you're listening to this, we will eventually be putting the video
Speaker:recording of this up online. So make sure to check back for updated show
Speaker:notes because it may be there. Yeah. Well, the yeah. You can just put
Speaker:in there and let them download it. I'll just We'll put yeah. We'll we'll link
Speaker:this in here, but if anyone's wanting to see anything that is shared yeah. Yeah.
Speaker:And so this just makes it really easy. And people
Speaker:actually, can we talk about your chart? Is that okay? Okay. So you
Speaker:went from a 9th house to a 10th house perfection since we've been working together.
Speaker:And why don't you tell them your experience of how crazy you thought I was?
Speaker:Oh my god. So, yeah, I I started my 10th house perfection in
Speaker:May. And prior to that, Robin and I have been working together in February.
Speaker:And Robin's like, you're not gonna be taking a lot of vacations this summer. Right?
Speaker:I was like, no. But I really don't wanna be working. I'm really tired. She's
Speaker:like, no. No. You're gonna wanna be you're gonna wanna be doing a
Speaker:lot of the things this summer. I was like, you're okay. No. I
Speaker:really don't, but sure. I'm I'm gonna I'm gonna hold this space for anything
Speaker:being possible. And then sure shit
Speaker:without fail come this summer, I was like, oh, I do
Speaker:wanna do the things. I do have all of these, like, creative ideas and
Speaker:changes in the business and changes in how I'm interacting with
Speaker:the business that I want to be making. And she was like, did you doubt
Speaker:me? I didn't I didn't doubt. I just didn't think it was
Speaker:gonna be quite this much of a 180. So, yes, that's been my
Speaker:very short summary experience of what the first three months of my
Speaker:10th house production. Isn't that wild that how much you've gotten done in
Speaker:that area in just those 3 months? And, I mean, it was amplified for you
Speaker:because of other things that are happening like the retrograde.
Speaker:But that's the power of annual perfections and, like, being
Speaker:able to plan your year knowing that's just where your focus is gonna be.
Speaker:And it doesn't mean that you're not gonna be traveling because I know that you
Speaker:are, but not not during this particular shift,
Speaker:which I love. So, and that's for anybody who's listening. If
Speaker:you are probably not 9, but if you're 21, 33, 45, 57,
Speaker:or 69, you're also in a 10th house perfection. I'm I
Speaker:am 45. I I'm also in a 10th house perfection and it
Speaker:has been wild. And so and that's the
Speaker:beauty of it. They're like, you know nothing about astrology and how easy is that?
Speaker:Yeah. No. It it's it's it's been
Speaker:wild, I think, to say the least at the the 180 that I
Speaker:did. I did not think I was gonna be working or not even
Speaker:working this much, making this much forward progress. Yeah.
Speaker:And I think that was the distinction that I was hung up on that you
Speaker:were like, it doesn't necessarily mean you're working more hours. Yeah. But
Speaker:we're we're changing things and work and the business is a
Speaker:large focus, which it has been. Yeah. And for 10th house,
Speaker:specifically, it does tend to be because all of the houses, you go through them
Speaker:at once every 12 years. And so it's it tends to be a defining
Speaker:a defining year for that area and you you making big
Speaker:changes that you'll be working with for the next
Speaker:12 years. Right? And that's for sure been
Speaker:my experience every single time. I'm like, wow. And I
Speaker:know astrology really well and I'm still like, So that's how that's how that played
Speaker:out. Alright. Well, that's fine.
Speaker:That tracks. Yeah. But just being able to plan. So, like, I knew and you
Speaker:knew going in kind of how to plan for
Speaker:your summer. Right? Like, you didn't you didn't plan a
Speaker:whole bunch of, quote, unquote, fun things, but I think you've still been having
Speaker:fun. No. Quite a bit of fun, but nothing that's gonna take me out of
Speaker:the game, so to speak, for more than, like, a few days at a time
Speaker:kind of a thing. I think that that is naturally kind
Speaker:of what I leaned towards doing most of the summer anyways, but it
Speaker:was reinforced after chatting with you that, like, hey. We
Speaker:might not be planning to, like, gallivant around Italy offline for the month
Speaker:of August. Yep. I remember you had thought it might be
Speaker:about some of the more agricultural stuff
Speaker:and I was like, I
Speaker:think it's interesting that the podcast got a rebrand too. Right? Mhmm.
Speaker:It did. That's part of your townhouse. Yeah. The rebranding
Speaker:and I know. It's it's nice and shiny with a new name. I love you
Speaker:know I love it. Like, when I saw the name Much
Speaker:more reflective. Yes. I was like, oh, I'm in. And it yes.
Speaker:But that's also a 10,000 because it's literally the way that your reputation. It's how
Speaker:you put yourself out there. It's how you show up on stage. Right? Like and
Speaker:you're very much saying, hey, wealth witches.
Speaker:Right? Or with did I get it? Wealth witches? Yeah. Wealth witches. Yeah. Like,
Speaker:I almost turned that into a bad word.
Speaker:Like, that's sort of it's very defining when you come out of the broom
Speaker:closet in any way. Right? For you to have that as part of your
Speaker:public persona is a shift if I'm not mistaken. It
Speaker:is. And I think it's gonna be fascinating to watch how that
Speaker:evolves for this cycle, for the 12 year cycle.
Speaker:I I love that. I love the long term foreshadowing
Speaker:of things as they happen in in the 10th house. And so you were in
Speaker:the 9th house perfection just as
Speaker:recently as, March. Right? Mhmm. And so 9th house, like I said, is
Speaker:philosophy, religion, spirituality, that which is foreign, which is all foreign
Speaker:travel. And, it's just kinda
Speaker:what was your experience of and and I also have to say she has a
Speaker:glorious 9th house. Like, she has, lovely, lovely things
Speaker:in there, and so my anticipation would be that it would have been a very
Speaker:good year. What was your experience? I did spend 3 months
Speaker:out of the country, not at any one time, but there was definitely a lot
Speaker:of foreign travel. Might have actually been more than 3 months, but just 3 months
Speaker:that I can think of. I
Speaker:wouldn't it was not a bad year. It
Speaker:does not feel as good as this year has felt so far, which
Speaker:is really interesting to me because I have not been traveling. I've not been doing
Speaker:a lot of the things that I normally do, and
Speaker:we had a lot of changes, like, on our team and in the
Speaker:company, and there was a lot of me kind
Speaker:of laying some groundwork for my own
Speaker:rituals or routines that and figuring out, like, what
Speaker:what really mattered to me. Right? I, you know, struggled with
Speaker:all sorts of, like, body issues and things like that over the years. And in
Speaker:the last, like, year and a half or so, I've gotten really comfortable with,
Speaker:like, how I'm eating, how I'm showing up, like, just things
Speaker:kind of along those lines that feel I felt
Speaker:more settled after the end of that year. And it felt like I'd sort of
Speaker:grounded for then, like, this 10th year that we've been kicking
Speaker:off. And that's sort of the way that I always think of the 9th house
Speaker:years. It's like you're settling into whatever your philosophical beliefs and your
Speaker:mindset is gonna be. I also think that's when you got more interested unless
Speaker:you found unless you were into astrology before me, were you? I
Speaker:mean, somewhat, but not like, you were you were part of that.
Speaker:Yeah. Well, at 9th house is also astrology, which is
Speaker:why I brought it up. Like and you went down the rabbit hole. Like, you
Speaker:use it a lot. You use it really well now and very effectively,
Speaker:and I love watching you plan around it because it
Speaker:just makes me happy when I see entrepreneurs leveraging the ever loving daylights out of
Speaker:it. I'm just Using all of the tools we have at our
Speaker:disposal. Yes. Because it that's really how I think of it. Right? I don't think
Speaker:of it as a crystal ball. I think of it as a strategic tool very
Speaker:much. And I think that might be a little bit
Speaker:unexpected for people who have only been exposed to modern astrology where it's more like
Speaker:pop psychology, and more like a Myers Briggs personality
Speaker:test and I very rarely talk about people's personalities. I mean,
Speaker:we do sometimes if I'm doing, like, how is this person gonna respond to something.
Speaker:Right? But, I'm much more focused on predictive and
Speaker:strategic with the tools, which is one of the reasons that annual perfections
Speaker:is my favorite because I can be like, here. Have it. Go do all the
Speaker:things. Like, you don't need to learn your moon sign and your rising sign. You
Speaker:don't have to. You're just literally just how old are you, which
Speaker:granted, for me, is sometimes a challenge. I don't always know how
Speaker:old I am. But for most people, I think it's a little bit easier.
Speaker:No. I yeah. There was a year where I think I thought I was 27
Speaker:the whole year, and then I actually turned 27. And I was like, oh, oh,
Speaker:I've done this before. Cool. Oh, yeah. No. I'm talking like sometimes I
Speaker:forget I'm in my forties. I'm like, oh, I'm like, what?
Speaker:28, 20 I don't know. I don't know. I'm one of those ages.
Speaker:Yeah. It's there's a number in it. Anyway, so
Speaker:what else do we think that somebody who's never been introduced to annual perfections
Speaker:might need to know? I think
Speaker:in terms of how it ties back to business, if
Speaker:you can you pull up the PDF that you'd had up? Yep.
Speaker:So as we're looking at this from, like, the
Speaker:business or the entrepreneur lens Mhmm.
Speaker:I mean, to an extent, I would say a lot of these, like, almost everything
Speaker:that I do ties back into my business and vice versa. Some, you know, some
Speaker:point in time. Are there specific houses
Speaker:that you would say, like, hey. I would be paying extra attention as a business
Speaker:owner and entrepreneur, and this is why. Yeah. So 10th
Speaker:house, obviously, and we've already talked about that a lot. Like, you're probably rebranding,
Speaker:reimagining, growing, scaling, or even pivoting and changing directions.
Speaker:So definitely 10th house is always a big one. 9th house is usually kind of
Speaker:the lead up to that in my experience, so you're getting previews. So 10th house,
Speaker:very important. 12th house is actually the one where I see the most entrepreneurs come
Speaker:to me for 1 on 1 sessions. It's where I meet most people. I
Speaker:would I would say the vast majority.
Speaker:Because what happens in a 12th house is is I call it okay.
Speaker:You're okay. I'm gonna explain the life cycle of a caterpillar. I know it doesn't
Speaker:seem relevant, but I promise that it is. So when a caterpillar is doing its
Speaker:thing, living its life, it's in all the other houses. But when a caterpillar
Speaker:spends its cocoon and it's in that cocoon, what happens is
Speaker:its body melts, like, liquefies. That's a 12th house
Speaker:year. Right? That's what you need to be doing in your 12th house year. And
Speaker:if you're not doing that, life feels really hard. And
Speaker:people have these, like, midlife crisis crises or
Speaker:they, you know, they've burned their businesses to the ground. I see that over and
Speaker:over again. Like, they'll burn their they'll be in the process of burning their business
Speaker:to the ground and they come to me and they they're like, I don't know
Speaker:really what's happening. And all it is is that they need to figure out
Speaker:different boundaries. They don't actually need to start all over.
Speaker:That's really pivotal for entrepreneurs to be aware of because
Speaker:I I promise you the tendency is to burn your business down.
Speaker:And that's it's also the house of self sabotage. That's one of the
Speaker:significations. And it's that for a reason. It's because you're gonna try
Speaker:to burn things down that maybe isn't in your best interest to do,
Speaker:unless you're using that energy really well. And the way that I tell people
Speaker:to use it is to get a lot of coaching or a lot of therapy,
Speaker:depending on what stage you're at. Like that's
Speaker:like taking care of your brain, your brain is your most important asset as a
Speaker:business owner, period. Right? And then so if you're overly stressed and you're
Speaker:not able to make clear headed decisions and you your business is gonna suffer. But
Speaker:the people that I know who have who either I work with a lot of
Speaker:coaches but not exclusively. I would say it's about 5050. The people that I know
Speaker:who either have a very strong meditation practice, I'm
Speaker:not gonna say spiritual practice, but really meditation, or they do a lot of
Speaker:mindset coaching inherently in their lives, they tend to handle the
Speaker:12th house better, because they're already paying attention to
Speaker:their thoughts and they already know that thoughts aren't don't equal reality
Speaker:in a way that people who don't have one of those two tools don't always
Speaker:know. And so the 12th
Speaker:house, while it doesn't on the surface appear to be important, I promise you if
Speaker:you're an entrepreneur, the 12th house, you're gonna feel every transit because that's when your
Speaker:self doubt comes up, that's when your self sabotage comes up and that's when you
Speaker:need the most external help. And so that's the first
Speaker:one, or the first two. And the first house and the
Speaker:second house are also really important. 1st house because in the
Speaker:caterpillar life cycle, right, you you're actually going from
Speaker:that pile of goo to your butterfly wings. And those are the that's the
Speaker:butterfly that you're gonna be for the next 12 years, and you're figuring that out
Speaker:in your first house. And,
Speaker:as an entrepreneur, who you are as a person
Speaker:always directly impacts the way you're doing business.
Speaker:It's just there's no way for it not to. And so if you're showing
Speaker:up differently in your personal life, it doesn't even matter how. Like,
Speaker:maybe you're showing up differently because your kids just went to college or maybe you're
Speaker:showing up differently because now suddenly you,
Speaker:got a divorce, you got married, like, whatever. Right? Like, your identity is changing
Speaker:fundamentally or you go from being a Buddhist to a Catholic, you know,
Speaker:whatever. Yeah. But there's always a
Speaker:big change. And the other thing that I see is people hit their
Speaker:first house and they're like, I am ready for my wings. Give
Speaker:them to me now. I want them fully formed. I would like to be able
Speaker:to fly perfectly, please. But it takes the whole year and
Speaker:being impatient is just going to cause you suffering. And if
Speaker:you think that you've got it figured out, you don't. Right?
Speaker:It does take the whole year and being curious is what I always advise. So
Speaker:being compassionate with yourself in the 12th house, being curious in your first house,
Speaker:and not trying to rush because it's a whole dang
Speaker:year long transit, which we talked about because you it
Speaker:feels like a long time already and it's been 3 months.
Speaker:Right? Mhmm. And and you're kinda like, well, I should be done now.
Speaker:Oh, these are just a great start.
Speaker:I did the thing. I did it all. You know? Yeah. But you
Speaker:even kind of already know where the next steps are over the next 9
Speaker:months. Right? Yeah. And and we've talked
Speaker:about it. So we I know that you're building towards a specific goal and how
Speaker:that's gonna play out. And they but people don't wanna people don't wanna hear that.
Speaker:So, like, if you're listening to me and you're not working with me where I
Speaker:can bring you back to reality, just remind yourself that it is a year long
Speaker:quest. It is not a side quest. This is the
Speaker:main event. So Overarching theme for the
Speaker:whole year, not just a portion of it until you think you're done.
Speaker:Yeah. Whole year. 2nd house is the other one entrepreneurs like because it's about money.
Speaker:It's how you make money. And so usually what happens is in the
Speaker:10th house, they decide basically that they're re branding,
Speaker:or doing some sort of pivotal change. 11th house, they're implementing it
Speaker:in their social media and they're networking and they're doing that. And in the
Speaker:12th house, they're burned all the way out and they need like some downtime and
Speaker:to reevaluate their life because whatever they've done has changed how
Speaker:they view themselves and some of the dynamics within their lives. In the first house,
Speaker:they have their come to Jesus moment with themselves and, like, they figure out how
Speaker:they wanna show up. And then the second house, how they're making money changes a
Speaker:little bit or a lot. It can depending on, like, what their
Speaker:chart shows, but it's a focus on how you're making money
Speaker:specifically. And so sometimes that looks like a new offer
Speaker:or, like within the business that you established, like the way that you've
Speaker:rebranded. It can also mean a new revenue stream.
Speaker:And so I've seen people, like, who have memberships then do certifications
Speaker:or who you know what I mean? Like, it's just a little bit of extra
Speaker:stuff that they start doing. And
Speaker:yeah. So I would say 10th, 12th, 1st, and second,
Speaker:super important for entrepreneurs specifically, and the rest
Speaker:of it tends to be 6th house too. 6th house can
Speaker:be operational stuff, and I've seen Okay. People in
Speaker:6th house who, tighten up their, their
Speaker:funnels and who clean up systems, so, like, their automated
Speaker:systems, even, like, their launches, all of that
Speaker:kinda thing. 8th house tends to be taxes, debt,
Speaker:that that kind of thing. I bet you actually get a lot of people when
Speaker:they hit 8th house stuff, would be my guess, because it's a you
Speaker:have to deal with this now like an adult. That would actually make sense. Yeah.
Speaker:Age wise. Mhmm. Yeah. I mean,
Speaker:just like I get people in the 12th 10th frequently. Like, my guess is that
Speaker:people find you in an 8th or when something in their 8th house is being
Speaker:activated. But that's that tends to be when people are like,
Speaker:oh, I need to figure out my IRA, or I need to figure out
Speaker:how to pay fewer taxes because my business is doing well, or I need to
Speaker:figure out how to get a business loan. Or but, like, it tends to be
Speaker:that type of thing, and so also pretty important for entrepreneurs.
Speaker:I mean, I honestly, I can tell you how it would play out for all
Speaker:of them, but those would be, I would say,
Speaker:10, 12, 1, and 2, most important. 6 and
Speaker:8, secondary importance. And the rest of them
Speaker:probably Tertiary. Yeah. Yeah. Like, probably have a little bit more to do
Speaker:with the other houses, like what you just
Speaker:what you were doing or, like, prepping for them. Mhmm. Mhmm.
Speaker:Okay. Not directly, but still tangentially related because, yeah, it all plays
Speaker:in. And I will say Yeah.
Speaker:Oh, that's the easy version. So this is the thing that I can get for
Speaker:people to be able to do very easily. But if I'm not mistaken, like, you
Speaker:know, when we were doing the Venus retrograde cycles Mhmm. I
Speaker:have that workbook. Mhmm. I I have the same workbook for these
Speaker:where people can go back and look at what it was for them in
Speaker:the past years so they can get an idea of the quality of it. And
Speaker:that's the next layer is like and you can do it for yourself because you
Speaker:can just look at the ages and do it. I just have a workbook that
Speaker:does it. But do you remember how you were able to clearly see the pattern
Speaker:for your Venus retrograde? The same thing happens with annual perfection. So,
Speaker:like, if you're 45, just think back to your 33rd year. Right? And you're
Speaker:gonna be able to see kind of what the themes are in a very
Speaker:clear way. Like, it was it was
Speaker:completely obvious. And
Speaker:so when I say this is the easiest technique, it is simple to
Speaker:get started. It becomes infinitely more
Speaker:valuable and complex the deeper you go with it because each of these houses,
Speaker:if I have your rising sign, has a sign associated
Speaker:with it, which is ruled by a planet. And so if you know
Speaker:that information, then, like, let's say you know that you're,
Speaker:a Libra rising and you're in a second house perfection,
Speaker:then you would know that Scorpio's in your second house. Mars
Speaker:becomes the most important planet. You're paying attention to everything Mars does that year.
Speaker:So that's the next level. So if you happen to know a little bit more
Speaker:about astrology and you know your chart, once you know your annual perfection,
Speaker:the planet that rules that house is the most important planet for you,
Speaker:wherever it is in your chart naively and what it's doing in the sky. So
Speaker:it's just there's there's I the way that I describe
Speaker:astrology is like the English language. Right? A kindergartner
Speaker:can effectively communicate something Mhmm. But
Speaker:he's not Shakespeare. Right? Like, Shakespeare's doing
Speaker:language at a whole another level. And so astrology is the same way. I just
Speaker:gave you kinder astrology, which is still super powerful because like being
Speaker:able to talk and communicate is super powerful no matter how you do it.
Speaker:And the more you learn about it, the more like you get the more the
Speaker:more closer, yes, the more closer you get to Shakespeare. I think it's great
Speaker:that I butchered the English language with that.
Speaker:I think it's a perfect example. I love it. But, yes, the the the more
Speaker:you know, the closer you can be to Shakespearean Yeah. Astrology.
Speaker:I may just call myself a Shakespearean astrologer from now on. Yeah. I
Speaker:like it. No. I think too
Speaker:that my initial I think what I found
Speaker:so valuable about this is that, like, my initial view of astrology
Speaker:was just like how did you phrase it
Speaker:earlier? Like, the the woey, like, almost like tabloid y Yeah. Like culture.
Speaker:Yes. Top top culture. There we go. Yes. Whereas, like, despite
Speaker:being myself, I'm
Speaker:I work in accounting. I like numbers. I like concrete things. I like
Speaker:data. I like patterns. And so much of
Speaker:this is just like it's pattern recognition and pattern
Speaker:acknowledgement and then educating yourself on what these patterns may mean for you
Speaker:based on your individual patterns. And I think looking at at it that way for
Speaker:me made a really big difference in how
Speaker:I'm adopting it into my life. Yeah. Yeah. I I'm the
Speaker:most pragmatic well, this is what I say on my dating profiles. I'm I'm the
Speaker:most pragmatic witch you will ever meet. And people are always like,
Speaker:wait. What? Those two words do not go together. Like, oh,
Speaker:but they can. Yes. And then, you know, the fun thing is that everybody
Speaker:that works with me, pragmatic, all of them, because that's the kind of
Speaker:astrology I do. And then, like, if you're not tactically minded, I'm probably not the
Speaker:astrologer for you, because I don't do the relationship
Speaker:feeling stuff. It's not it's not what I'm interested in.
Speaker:I at all.
Speaker:Right. It's very much like using this as a tool and using
Speaker:this to plan,
Speaker:which I think that that has been definitely the most beneficial for me to be
Speaker:able to, like, block chunks of time up in my calendar for, like,
Speaker:hey. Caitlin needs extra downtime now.
Speaker:Or, hey. Things might be a little right now. Don't burn it
Speaker:to the ground. It's this too is a phase. It shall pass.
Speaker:Yeah. And, I mean, what's interesting is because there's so so many significations
Speaker:with the houses and the planets and everything, like, I'm always playing the
Speaker:odds, which is more math. Right? Like, I'm always playing the odds of what's
Speaker:most likely to happen, but that doesn't mean it's the only thing that can happen,
Speaker:which is the value of working with astrology a lot in
Speaker:somebody's chart. Like, if why I empower people to do it for themselves
Speaker:is because you will learn your patterns better than any
Speaker:book, any software, any astrologer because I have one
Speaker:I have one client whose 7th house, always, every
Speaker:time it's activated, it's because he's having trouble at work. It's never a
Speaker:partnership. It's never a relationship. It's always the open enemies part
Speaker:of the 7th house. And so, like, whenever he has something go through there, if
Speaker:it looks challenging, I'm like, I know what's about to happen because this happens over
Speaker:and over and over again. Right? I'm never like, oh, you're gonna have a fight
Speaker:with your nonexistent partner because, well, 1, he doesn't have a partner, and
Speaker:2, that's just never what it is. And so that's the value of
Speaker:long term analysis and paying attention to the cycles and the trends.
Speaker:Right? And this is how I this is my gateway drug
Speaker:and people see that it works. And then they're like, wait. You mean astrology's
Speaker:real? What? I I
Speaker:could have more behind behind the curtain information.
Speaker:I do. I love saying I'm Morpheus.
Speaker:I think that's a good way to put it. Yeah. Yes. Yes. So
Speaker:that Why make it harder than it needs to be? For real. And, I
Speaker:mean, I so we didn't say what, like, the fate and free will thing is,
Speaker:but I I do believe that fate is real.
Speaker:Okay? And so my premise is that things are predestined to happen, and the
Speaker:free will component is that you get to choose your experience of
Speaker:that. And so if if we know that you're gonna be working a lot,
Speaker:if you're just planning that and if you if you had been planning a vacation,
Speaker:and then you had to work, you'd have been your experience of it would have
Speaker:sucked. Right? But if you're like, okay, I'm gonna be open to the possibility that
Speaker:I might not hate working. Like, that's all you had to do, and your experience
Speaker:has been great. Like, just that tiny little tiny little thing.
Speaker:And so I do believe it's both, and that's the reason I think astrology works
Speaker:so well is because you can see,
Speaker:hey. This might be more challenging. Do I ever think that means don't do something?
Speaker:No. I think that means that you're gonna have to work on your mindset if
Speaker:you're going to execute it well. And so I have
Speaker:a there's a person. I'm she's not my client yet.
Speaker:I'm I'm holding space for one day for her to be my client so that
Speaker:I can help her have an easier life. But,
Speaker:she's a multi seven figure entrepreneur,
Speaker:And whatever word means
Speaker:the complete opposite of good astrological timing natively,
Speaker:whatever that word is. Right? Like, it she's
Speaker:Eprocious. Yeah. Oh my gosh. She's so bad. Like, if it's like
Speaker:the opposite of a good election. It's like, hey. What's the worst possible day for
Speaker:me to do this? And she will pick it for launches almost every single time.
Speaker:It is the wildest thing I have ever seen. I mean, to the point where
Speaker:I would like to, to like, when I hear that she's doing a launch, I
Speaker:just go, I'm not doing anything that week because I already know.
Speaker:I already have to go look at the calendar. I know it's gonna be bad.
Speaker:And she's a multi seven figure business owner because
Speaker:she manages her mind better than anybody I have ever seen. Like, she has the
Speaker:coaching tools down and the thought work down. And so when she hits
Speaker:those things that are challenging, she manages her mind and she
Speaker:continues to move forward and continues to work through
Speaker:the energy instead of just letting it stop her. And I
Speaker:and that's another valuable thing
Speaker:about understanding astrology deeply
Speaker:is to never let it stop you from doing
Speaker:something you really wanna do. Just be willing to do the work for it.
Speaker:So have an open mind. Yeah. Well, yeah. So, like, when I say the 12th
Speaker:house is probably gonna be hard, I'm not saying don't do anything. I'm saying you're
Speaker:gonna need extra support to do the things that you wanna do.
Speaker:Right? And also be maybe more naps.
Speaker:Naps and support. Yeah. Oh, but also imagine what her launches could look like
Speaker:for her, what her business could look like for her if she was, like,
Speaker:even mid midway with better dates and better timing.
Speaker:Yeah. You're just dying inside of the game. It kills me. It kills me so
Speaker:much. And I'm not the I never I never solicit work. Right? And I'm
Speaker:just like, somebody please tell her to let me help her. I'll do it
Speaker:for free. Like, just it hurts my heart. Let
Speaker:me help you, please, because I'm dying inside. It is a little
Speaker:bit. Like, when I see her do something on an eclipse and a Mercury retrograde,
Speaker:I'm like, why, though? Why why would why? Why? And it
Speaker:completely bombed. She had to relaunch. I was like, yeah. She did a great
Speaker:job. She made a ton of money off of it, but it was a cluster
Speaker:situation.
Speaker:And, yeah, and I like to avoid those. So I don't
Speaker:watch during those windows because I don't wanna have to manage my mind that much.
Speaker:I don't. I don't. I I want it to be easier for me. And
Speaker:so Mhmm. Can I get through hard things? Yes. Do I
Speaker:want to actively choose to put myself in those positions? No, I do not. So
Speaker:I will not be expanding my business in my 12th house year. I've already got
Speaker:a plan for what my 12th house year is gonna be, and it's gonna be
Speaker:a lot of research as I pursue a PhD. Mhmm. Right?
Speaker:And that's much more internal and not me having to be on stage, which
Speaker:is more stressful for me. And because I know what my 12th I have
Speaker:Virgo in my 12th house. It's very studious. My Mercury wants to be doing
Speaker:that sort of thing. It'll be very relaxing and regulating for me.
Speaker:Right? And and so that's the kind of thing
Speaker:doesn't mean my business won't be running. It will be. But I won't
Speaker:be doing the kind of work that I am now. Just like you won't be
Speaker:doing the kind of work you're doing now. Right. Like, we already
Speaker:have kinda mapped out your, like, kind of Next 2 years. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker:Yeah. And that's part of what you're planning for now, which is
Speaker:another way that you can, like, very easily Right. Exactly.
Speaker:Look. Yeah. We're we're forecasting ahead. Like, hey, this is coming down the
Speaker:pipeline based on what I'm wanting to do now. Like, what does that look like
Speaker:so that you can be working with it instead of against it? Yeah.
Speaker:And and it gives you the ability something that I think a lot of
Speaker:entrepreneurs have difficulty with is planning
Speaker:because their brains you can't be an entrepreneur and have a normal brain. Like, I
Speaker:just don't think that even exists. And so normal
Speaker:calendaring and scheduling and sticking to the, you know, the
Speaker:beginning of the years in January and the end of the year, like, it's it
Speaker:doesn't make sense for most entrepreneurs. Right? This is where
Speaker:this this works for every entrepreneur I've ever put it in front of. It makes
Speaker:them it makes their cycles make sense to them and why they
Speaker:feel more like doing like, you feel more like being really active
Speaker:in your business when every a lot of other people wanna be vacationing right now,
Speaker:but it's because of the way that your chart's lined up. Right? And so people
Speaker:don't have to resist that. And you
Speaker:can just plan based on them and not based on an arbitrary
Speaker:calendar that was made up by other humans.
Speaker:Shocker. I know. No. I'm I'm
Speaker:excited. Yeah. I'm really looking forward to the next Right
Speaker:now. Little bit of time.
Speaker:Oh, okay. So yeah. I was
Speaker:just gonna say, I don't think we have time for the other ones. No. That
Speaker:that's totally fine. So, Robin, I
Speaker:think I follow you on Instagram, and I think everyone else should
Speaker:follow you on Instagram because you put out a ton of really valuable content. I
Speaker:actually check when I get online, I check yours first for the day. Just as
Speaker:my little reminder of what what the day even though we, like, we we chat
Speaker:about little brain. It's my little nudge of, like, hey, FYI.
Speaker:Mhmm. So we'll make sure to link your Instagram, which is wicked
Speaker:veracity. Correct? Wicked wicked.veracity. Funny thing. Wicked.veracity.
Speaker:Okay. Yeah. I check my Instagram every morning too because I need the reminder because
Speaker:I write it, like, a week ahead of time. Mhmm. And so I'm like, okay.
Speaker:What is my day gonna look? Because I don't remember. And I put out an
Speaker:email. Oh, I also have an email list that if if you want a weekly
Speaker:test, you should definitely get on it. Yes. I do read that as
Speaker:well. So we'll make sure to link both of those. And then where
Speaker:like, if I wanted to dive more into all of this,
Speaker:where do we need to go? Where does anyone listening need to go? Yeah.
Speaker:So, I mean, Instagram pod I have a podcast with the Brassy podcast as
Speaker:well, but I have a membership. The Crusade is specifically for entrepreneurs
Speaker:to teach them how to do this, and we I do live mindset and astrological
Speaker:coaching every week, in in my group, and we've have
Speaker:workbooks where they can do where they learn it in a very practical, tangible
Speaker:way. And you can learn all about it at wickedveracity.com backslash
Speaker:crusade. Wonderful. We'll make sure to link all of that in the
Speaker:notes. If there's anything that you could think of to leave
Speaker:any of the listeners with some wisdom that you could impart?
Speaker:Is there anything that you would tell them when it comes to astrology
Speaker:and their business or their ventures?
Speaker:There's a quote Mhmm. That is
Speaker:probably not valid because you know how most quotes are, but the
Speaker:quote goes, and I wanna say it was a Rockefeller that said it, but,
Speaker:millionaires don't use astrology, billionaires do.
Speaker:And the reason astrology
Speaker:was reserved for kings in the past is because
Speaker:it's so powerful. And if you
Speaker:really want to to strategically
Speaker:benefit your business, I think it's one of the most powerful tools that
Speaker:people can easily access. Right? Like, you
Speaker:don't have to learn all of it. You just have to learn to pay attention
Speaker:to a few cycles that aren't super complicated and
Speaker:just even be and pay attention. Like, even get on my email list and pay
Speaker:attention to the Instagram, and you could seriously
Speaker:start to use it to your advantage immediately, and I don't
Speaker:know why they wouldn't do it. Is that
Speaker:how's that? Yeah. No. I think that was fantastic. I didn't mean to completely put
Speaker:you on the spot there, but you absolutely delivered. That was
Speaker:and that's I've I've heard that quote before, and it was always really intriguing to
Speaker:me. But then it was, you know, the the pop culture version of astrology. I
Speaker:was like, this this seems like bullshit. Like Well, it is. And so,
Speaker:like, I am never advocating and you can I don't know if this is staying
Speaker:in, but this can stay in because the other thing I'll say is what I
Speaker:do is not what you're gonna see in Cosmo? Right? Like, that's not what I'm
Speaker:doing. What I'm doing is very different, and I do predictive Hellenistic
Speaker:astrology. And modern astrology is what was
Speaker:created from the remnants of a tradition that was infinitely
Speaker:powerful more powerful than what we've had access to and we've only
Speaker:recovered the techniques like annual perfections in the last 30 years
Speaker:as the primary and secondary sources were translated out of the original
Speaker:Greek and the secondary sources were in Arabic. And those were the
Speaker:only surviving copies because as the
Speaker:Catholic church spread, they banned astrology,
Speaker:not because it didn't work, which they would even say, but because it went against
Speaker:God. And the text eventually fell out of
Speaker:favor and so they were there were only there just weren't any in the modern
Speaker:languages and it was just what people had remembered and passed down. And it
Speaker:was still so powerful that it could change people's lives, and it was nothing
Speaker:compared to what we can do now. Right. Just, yeah, the remnants of and it
Speaker:was still Still make it and people were still like, there's something to this.
Speaker:Right? Because, like, it was still so useful. And the fact and
Speaker:we're still getting more and more techniques. Like, we have we have people who are
Speaker:actively working to translate texts that have never been translated into
Speaker:English. I'm actually the PhD that I'm working that I wanna that I want will
Speaker:let me do that from for texts that are coming out of cuneiform, which has
Speaker:even we have even less access to because the texts that have been
Speaker:translated out of cuneiform, clearly, most historians don't really
Speaker:care about the astrological and magical texts. They have not been a
Speaker:priority. They will be my priority. And That'll be
Speaker:really exciting. Yeah. I'm thrilled. Right? But, like, that's the kind
Speaker:of research, and I do mean, like, really, truly. It's like academic research that's
Speaker:going on to give us the techniques that we've lost access to. And and
Speaker:so if if you were interested in astrology 20 years ago and you're like, that's
Speaker:bull. Yeah. I mean, it wasn't predictive. Fair. Like
Speaker:but that's not what I do. Mhmm. Mhmm. No. It's definitely different than
Speaker:what I had anticipated, which was fluffier.
Speaker:Yours is yours is the opposite of fluffy, which has
Speaker:been really nice as someone that likes to take
Speaker:action and have data. Yes. And it's replicable. So, like
Speaker:and that's the other thing. It's, like, all of my super smart, strategic people are
Speaker:like, wait a minute. Statistically, I don't think that could be
Speaker:random. Yes. Exact like, yeah. We
Speaker:we had a point where this is not just coincidental. Yes.
Speaker:But that's what I love about astrology. And when people start working with it for
Speaker:themselves and not just listening and being consumers of it, it becomes
Speaker:obvious. And once it becomes obvious, then you start being able to do it for
Speaker:yourself. I have somebody in the crusade who, at our weekly call this
Speaker:week, said she's been in the crusade, I wanna say, I April may
Speaker:change, like, 4 months maybe. And she's like, this is the 1st month
Speaker:that I understood and I predicted accurately
Speaker:based off of the workbook. Like, she went back to review because, you know, you
Speaker:get it too. Right? Like, the, my workbook has a summary of what it's gonna
Speaker:be, where it's gonna play out, and then I say, you predict and then you
Speaker:come back and see what it was because that's part of learning, right, like what
Speaker:your patterns are. And she's like, I got it. I mean, it wasn't exactly right,
Speaker:but I got it. And that's what happened. And she was thrilled. And I was
Speaker:I mean, I was I was so happy.
Speaker:Proud teacher moment. It's because it's so easy to do for
Speaker:yourself if you're trying because it is a science. It's not guesswork. It's not woo.
Speaker:It's not metaphysical or parapsychological or anything. It's just, like,
Speaker:you just follow the rules, and you plug in the words,
Speaker:and it works. A plus b equals
Speaker:c. Right. Even that's too complicated for me, but yes.
Speaker:For my math brain, it's yeah. The the bare bones. But no. That's
Speaker:that's fantastic. Thank you so
Speaker:much. I'm really glad that we got to have you on here. You're gonna be
Speaker:one of the first, I think, kickoff for the the relaunch.
Speaker:So I'll make sure to drop everything in the notes. And,
Speaker:Robin, thank you so much. Thank you for having me. It was absolutely
